The Landlord

Last checked: · 049-Rev3-L (reference-reported)

Direct answer

The Landlord collects rising weekly rent and announces the next amount after payment. Buying the building ends rent, but financing the purchase introduces a different debt rather than making the shop cost-free immediately.

Know the next deadline

Use the announced amount and date rather than treating starting rent as permanent. Joe Wild’s Rent Grace favor allows a missed week to be added to the next bill; it defers payment, not forgiveness. Without a workable payment arrangement, rent default can end the run in eviction.

Starting rent300 Credits per week

Borrowing is a separate commitment

The reference distinguishes the Upper Levels bank offer from the loan shark. Missing a loan installment can lead to seizure of goods and eventually the store. Review the repayment terms and keep the Mentor’s own loan in the budget instead of comparing lenders on the down payment alone.
