Choose legitimate ways to improve standing
Food and medical requisitions create trade opportunities, while accurate wanted reports and successful inspections provide separate gains. False reports and contraband discoveries work against you. An officer at the counter may be a buyer, inspector or punishment visit, so read the purpose before acting.

Use current investigation timing
UPDATE 049 schedules the punishment officer for the morning after an investigation completes and decides the sentence on arrival. A reduced record can therefore lead to a fine instead of the arrest implied by its earlier level. This is not an exploit that disables future enforcement.
