Separate observation from interpretation
Write the visible item name, distinguishing details and condition first. Then record tool readings only if you actually performed that check. Put uncertain interpretations in a separate sentence so that a later review does not mistake an assumption for a measured fact.

UPDATE 049 says using a scanner on an item brings that scanner’s panel to the front. The patch does not supply a universal visual-authentication rubric. Note which tool you used and what its panel actually reported rather than treating this checklist as an appraisal answer key.
Make a decision with your own evidence
You can record an offered price and your decision without the page claiming either is correct. Checking a box only tracks that your observation step is complete. Clear entries when starting another item, and copy important notes elsewhere because they reset on refresh.
