Equip Mode and Repeated Tool Use

Equip Mode in UPDATE 049 lets eligible selected tools act on multiple items without repeatedly retrieving the tool. Only owned items can be equipped. The Toolbox adds keys 1–9 for its corresponding stored tools, including blue and red labelers.
Use ownership and target compatibility checks
Purchase the tool before testing its equip behavior and choose a target the tool actually supports. A vendor's unowned object is not a valid test. Equip Mode reduces repeated selection; it does not waive the tool's remaining uses or the target's requirements.

Distinguish focus from a missing feature
If a shortcut does nothing, inspect whether another panel has focus and whether the expected tool occupies that position. The Toolbox is documented at Dr. Jackson after day 14; the note does not provide an exact hour or a guaranteed price. Keep ordinary multi-selection and tool equipping separate when reporting a failure.
