Swapping Batteries and Crypto Modules

Direct answer
UPDATE 049 lets one battery replace another by dragging it onto the other battery when both are owned. Cryptographic Desequencer crypto modules support the same swap interaction. This is a placement shortcut, not a way to recharge a battery.
Check both sides of the swap
Confirm ownership of the incoming and installed object, then use the intended compatible slot. An unpurchased battery in a vendor inventory does not meet the rule. After swapping, inspect the destination's charge so a drained replacement is not mistaken for a powered setup.

Plan the overnight load
Changing batteries may restore enough energy for a cycle but cannot fix missing material or a purifier's contamination floor. Keep charged and drained stock distinguishable and record the machine configuration before comparing power consumption. Crypto module swapping likewise does not supply blank cards by itself.
