The financial objective
The official Steam description says the player secured a storefront through a loan and needs to earn enough to buy out the shop before rising rent forces the issue. It presents the buyout as a major long-term money goal.
The current Playtest price is not published here because the reviewed source set does not establish a stable value.
Why rent changes the plan
Rent increases over time whether a week went well or not. Falling behind can reduce store attractiveness, bring in fewer customers and lower revenue. That creates a feedback loop in which recovering cash flow becomes more difficult.
Margin and consequence
The official pitch ties better margins to larger consequences. Expensive merchandise can produce a strong return, but confiscation, failed inspection or weak demand can leave too little cash for what the shop owes.
Treat the buyout as a reserve-building objective: judge a deal by what remains after its downside, not only by its advertised margin.
What this guide does not turn into a formula
No daily profit target, purchase order or universal best product is stated as a game fact. Those values depend on a current build, route and shop state that the official material does not quantify.
