Direct answer
Authenticity inspection asks whether the item is genuine or usable; appraisal asks what it is worth. The Demo reference separates cigarette, Food Stamp and Immunivax checks, while water requires its own testing tool. One scanner does not answer every product question.
Use the matching reference
Inspect cigarettes with the Hemingway handbook and color checker, stamps with the Food Stamp handbook, and injectors with the Immunivax guide. Compare the visible defect with the corresponding accusation rather than selecting a complaint because a price seems suspicious.

Keep heat, condition and authenticity separate
A genuine product can still be stolen, expired or unusable. A counterfeit is not automatically a wanted-person clue, and an Aug Scanner serves another purpose. Record the actual failed check before confronting a customer; a wrong accusation can cost reputation instead of securing a discount.
