Direct answer
Playtest 48.3.10 fixed an order-registration bug associated with hanging up too early. UPDATE 049 separately fixes stale conversations, ringing and Ready status. These are dated fixes; a fresh missing order still needs an exact conversation and build record.
Identify where the process stopped
Distinguish failing to connect, ending before an order is completed and a completed order that does not appear. Quick dial now connects immediately only if the contact will answer. Repeated calls are not proof of a registered purchase and can make the sequence harder to reconstruct.

Keep the next production batch flexible
Do not spend the rest of the cash on inputs that depend on an unconfirmed delivery. Preserve the save and report the missing order rather than replacing files or assuming every supplier has the same schedule. Use the visiting-supplier route only when its actual stock is available.
