The powered Water Purifier removes contamination from a liquid batch. Quality lowers the remaining-contamination floor, while Performance affects removal per run; a higher Quality number is not itself the final purity percentage.
Understand the two limits
A batch can need repeated runs because removal per cycle is bounded. Repeating an unchanged setup cannot pass that setup’s contamination floor. Test the water, inspect the full Quality and Performance totals, and decide whether another run can actually improve the batch.

Avoid spending power on a stalled batch
An eligible nonempty container can consume power even when no contaminant is removed. The powered machine does not use the portable purifier’s volume-based durability charge. Jackson’s water equipment depends on Water Trader training; check that unlock before treating absent stock as a bug.
