Find a route to initial stock
The Dumping Grounds offers a way to acquire goods without purchasing shop inventory, though attempts and injury limit scavenging. Keep the first salvage decisions focused on usable or saleable items and the room needed to take them back. Do not assume the start includes tools it never promises.

Watch separate failure systems
Rent, injury and the aug threat are different risks. The current reference says the Augmented game-over from missed augs applies only in Hard Mode. Starting perks can further alter cash, scavenging access and reporting income, so a route built around one perk combination is not universal.
