Direct answer
Playtest 48.3.12 made the previously hidden Rat Wrangler scenario visible in the selection menu. It also removed a display-contraband inspection reputation loop and corrected several bugs. This is historical Playtest coverage, not the current access announcement.
Visibility and Security changes
The scenario existed before the patch; the change exposed it alongside the other choices. The inspection change prevents reputation rewards when an inspection was caused by contraband displayed in the window, even if the goods were hidden before the inspection passed.

Control and stability corrections
The patch fixes non-16:9 fullscreen info tooltips and scratcher interactions, plus a shooting-related softlock and non-owned cassette storage. UPDATE 049 is the later Demo baseline. Use that distinction when comparing present machine power, cage behavior or controls with an old video.
