Read event news as context for the current run: identify the named event, affected category and whether the report describes supply, demand, visitors or restrictions. News does not by itself prove an item price, a personal quest trigger or a full-game story outcome.
Separate a market report from a personal task
A construction report points toward material demand, while Martial Law concerns wider restrictions. Neither is sufficient evidence that a named NPC gives you a specific quest. Check the relevant encounter or transaction separately.
Keep a short evidence log
Record the headline, in-game day, build and the offer or access change you actually observe. This makes it possible to distinguish an event effect from a condition change or a later patch.
For a report whose effect direction is not established, keep the note neutral. The directory lists the affected categories without manufacturing a price percentage or an end time.
